Terms.
The agreement for using Sites by Digit, in plain words.
These terms are an agreement between you and Digit Web Solutions LLC, which operates Sites by Digit, a Digit Software business.
The service
We design, build, host and maintain a website for your business on the plan you choose (Instant $29 a month; Starter $39 a month; Growth $59 a month). What each plan includes is listed on our pricing page.
Billing
Monthly, in advance, by card through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. We tell you before any price change takes effect.
Cancelling
There is no minimum term. Cancel any time; the site stays online until the end of the paid month. Your text, photos and logo stay yours. On request after cancelling we send you a copy of your site's files.
Refunds
Payments are not normally refunded, because you can cancel any time. If something has gone wrong, email support@sites.digit.software and we will look at it case by case.
Your content and your domain
You're responsible for the information you give us being accurate and yours to use. Your domain stays registered in your name; you pay its registration and renewal fees to the registrar, and they are never part of our prices.
Timing
We give an estimate when you sign up; it depends on the plan, our workload and your domain. No fixed date is promised.
Rounds of changes
A round of changes is one set of changes you send together, before launch: everything in one message or form counts as one round, however many items it lists. Correcting a business detail you gave us (a phone number, hours, a spelling) and fixing anything we got wrong never use a round.
Ongoing changes
An ongoing change request is a set of small changes sent together (text, photos, prices, hours, a service) that takes up to about an hour. New pages, redesigns and new features are out of scope: we quote them first and do nothing without your approval.
Work outside your plan
Online stores, logins, custom software and anything outside the plan are quoted separately and need your approval first.
What we don't promise
We build and maintain your website with care, but we don't promise any particular number of customers, calls, search rankings or sales. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before a claim.
Changes to these terms
We'll tell customers by email at least 30 days before a change to these terms takes effect.
