Websites for house cleaning businesses

People invite a cleaner into their home. Your website should feel welcoming, explain your services simply and answer the questions customers worry about.

Hiring a cleaner means letting someone into your home, so customers look for reassurance before they get in touch. They want to know what is included, how scheduling works, who will come and how to book. Websites for cleaning businesses that answer those questions clearly, and feels fresh and welcoming, turns visitors into enquiries.

Clearwater Home Cleaning, shown above, is a fictional business. Its website is a working demo on our Starter plan: a single, clean page that makes finding a service and getting in touch easy.

What customers look for on a cleaning website

  • What each service includes. Regular cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out: say what is covered so customers can choose.
  • How scheduling works. Weekly, every other week or one-off; how far ahead to book; what happens if they need to reschedule.
  • Who will come. A short, honest introduction to you or your team builds trust.
  • What customers need to provide. Whether you bring your own supplies and equipment, and anything they should do before you arrive.
  • Where you work and how to reach you. Your service area and a phone number or email that is easy to use on a phone.

Answer the worries before they are asked

Customers often hesitate over the same few questions. Is the cleaner insured? Do I need to be home? What if something is missed? Put clear, true answers on your website and fewer people will drift away. Only state what you actually offer: if you are insured, say so; if you are not, leave it out.

Keep it simple and welcoming

A cleaning website should feel like a clean room: light, uncluttered and easy to move around. Short sentences, plenty of space, real photos and one obvious way to get in touch work better than long lists of features.

Which plan suits a cleaning business

Starter, at $39 a month, is often the right fit: a personalized one-page website on your own domain, designed in the direction you choose. If you want separate pages for each service, a questions page and changes each month, Growth is $59 a month. Both include hosting, upkeep and the technical search basics, month to month with no setup fee. Compare them on our pricing page.

Questions worth answering on your site

  • Do customers need to be home during a cleaning?
  • Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
  • How do you handle keys and alarm codes?
  • What happens if something is missed?

What we need from you

Your services and what each includes, your service area, how booking works, your contact details and any photos you would like to use. The free website launch checklist helps you gather everything before we start. Short notes are fine: we turn them into clear pages, and you review the website before it goes live.
