Websites for electricians
Electrical work is about trust. Your website should look as careful and professional as the work you do, and make it simple to get in touch.

Brightline Electric is a fictional business: its website is a working demo we built, not a customer's site. Open the live demo
Customers hiring an electrician are trusting someone with their safety and their home. Before they call, many want reassurance: that you are licensed for the work, that you do the job they need and that you are easy to deal with. The best websites for electricians give that reassurance at a glance, then make the next step simple.
Brightline Electric, shown above, is a fictional business. Its website is a working demo we built on our Starter plan: a single, striking page that makes a strong first impression.
What customers look for on an electrician's website
- The work you do, named clearly. Panel upgrades, EV chargers, lighting, repairs and troubleshooting: specific services, not vague promises.
- Licensing and insurance you hold. If your state lists licence numbers, showing yours lets customers check it.
- Who you work for. Homes, businesses or both, so customers know they are in the right place.
- How to reach you. A phone number that starts a call on a phone, an email address and how quickly you usually reply.
- Your service area. The towns you cover, so no one has to ask.
A one-page site can be enough
Many electricians do not need a large website. One well-organized page can cover your services, your area, why customers choose you and how to get in touch, as the Brightline demo shows. As you add services or want to say more about each one, separate pages give each service room for its own details and questions.
Design that matches the work
Electrical work is precise, and a messy website undercuts that. A clean layout, sharp photos of real installations, readable text and buttons that are easy to tap on a phone all signal care. Avoid stock photos of lightning bolts and glowing bulbs; customers have seen them everywhere, and they say nothing about you.
Which plan suits an electrician
Starter, at $39 a month, gives you a personalized one-page website on your own domain, designed in the direction you choose. If you want separate pages for each service, a service area page and changes each month, Growth is $59 a month. Both include hosting, upkeep and the technical search basics, month to month with no setup fee. Compare everything on our pricing page.
Questions worth answering on your site
- Do you handle permits and inspections when a job needs them?
- Do you work on older homes and their wiring?
- Can you install an EV charger, and what does a customer need first?
- How soon can you usually come out for a repair?
What we need from you
Your services, the area you cover, your licence details if you want them shown, your contact details and any photos of your own work. We only publish what you give us and confirm; we never add a licence, review or claim you do not have. The free website launch checklist helps you gather it.
