Websites for plumbers
A plumbing website has one job: when a pipe bursts or the water heater quits, make it obvious that you can help and how to reach you.

Northfield Plumbing Co. is a fictional business: its website is a working demo we built, not a customer's site. Open the live demo
Good websites for plumbers start from one fact: when a customer looks for a plumber, they are usually in a hurry. Something is leaking, something has stopped working or a job has been put off long enough. They are often on a phone, sometimes standing in a wet basement. A plumbing website wins that customer by answering three questions in seconds: do you fix this, do you come to my area, and how do I reach you right now?
The demo above, Northfield Plumbing Co., shows how we approach it. Northfield is a fictional business, and its website is a working demo we built on our Growth plan.
What customers look for on a plumber's website
- A phone number they can tap. On the demo it sits at the top of every page and starts a call on a phone.
- The jobs you do, in their words. Leaks and pipe repair, water heaters, drain cleaning, fixtures, sump pumps: named the way a homeowner would search for them.
- Where you work. A clear list of towns, so nobody wonders whether you will come to them.
- When you are available. Your regular hours and how you handle urgent calls, stated plainly.
- Reasons to trust you. Licences and insurance you hold, how you price jobs and photos of your own work. Only what is true.
Pages that work for plumbing businesses
A focused one-page site works if you offer a handful of services in a small area. If you cover more ground, separate pages help each customer land on exactly what they need:
- A home page with your main services and the call button.
- A services page, or a page for each service, describing what is involved.
- A service area page naming the towns you cover.
- An about page: who will turn up at the door.
- A questions page answering what callers ask most, such as whether you charge for estimates.
- A contact page with every way to reach you.
That is exactly the structure of the Northfield demo, which uses all six pages of the Growth plan.
Which plan suits a plumbing business
Most established plumbing businesses choose Growth, at $59 a month: up to six pages, room for each service to have its own space, and changes each month as your services or hours change. A newer or very focused business can start with Starter, at $39 a month, a personalized one-page website on your own domain. Both include hosting, upkeep and the technical search basics, with no setup fee and no long contract. Every plan, and what it costs each month and each year, is on our pricing page.
Questions worth answering on your site
- Do you charge to come out and look at a job?
- Do you give a price before work starts?
- Can you help with emergencies, and when?
- Will you clean up after the job?
What we need from you
Your services in your own words, the towns you cover, your hours and contact details, and any photos of your own work. Our free website content worksheet walks you through it. We never invent a licence, a review or a claim: if you do not have something yet, the site simply leaves it out.
